Yesterday, at 6am, I left for British Columbia, Canada.  More specifically, I left to photograph a mountain bike race for Decline Magazine and Niner Bikes.  To make it to the media meeting on Friday (today), we drove straight up ‘The 5’ for 1300 miles, stopping only to fill up the tank/eat, and one stop for a nap.  We made it to the border in a little over 24 hours.

Living in a packed van for the next two weeks, I will be documenting the 7-day endurance race, followed by downhill rides from Whistler to Black Rock, OR.

This picture just reminds me of how much I can miss the Pac NW, the light is absolutely phenomenal here.
